KIDS Banquet: Our way of celebrating and honoring our kids who have completed 8 or 12 years of schooling. We’ll be inviting our support base, kids and their parents, teachers and more. Skate Trip: Jake’s challenge of taking some skaters on a skating journey to Ohio, and Cleveland. They’ll be visiting the awesome Kettering Skate Plaza among others and fitting in a stop at Cedar Point just for added thrills. Still seeking volunteers to “chaperon” along with Jake, and finances to cover all cost. Please PRAY as we see God opening hearts within this group of KIDS. “Flee youthful lusts, but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:22.

W@KIWeek: Quickly approaching in July7th-18th. This our Extreme VBS, day, sports camp all in one! Looking forward to it and diligently prepearing for these two weeks of fun. Christyann is immersed in curriculum, glue, beads, volunteers needs list, and all the details of putting w@ki week together. All for the opportunity to develop strong relationships now with these young kids and be able to walk with them through the next several years. ” You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain…” John 15:16

I’ve been re-reading this book about spiritual warfare and was reminded of such a basic principle of war. What is our objective? “In war then, let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns.” Sun Tzu 500 B.C.

VICTORY! is the objective. As we engage in our daily lives be it a  new day at work or ministry, a day off with the family,or whatever else we happen to be doing; we set out for battle. Yet do we set out with the proper objective in mind? To be victorious.

Let us then set our minds on heavenly things and remember “thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. 1Cor. 15:57

In Christ we are more than Conquerors…VICTORY!!!

Boy’s night at “Old School 18″. We will be starting our 3 on 3 tournament today with big CASH prizes for the winning team. Score keepers and court monitors always welcomed. Doors open at 5:00pm.

Girls’s Night Tuesday, that’s tonight, at 6:00pm. The Bible says to walk in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, rooted and built up…(Col 2:6-10). Joins us in person or in prayer as the Da’Girls seek to be built up and rooted in the WORD.

 Hang Time; in the Word,  hooping, skating, and more. Tonight, Friday at 7:30pm.

We start with prayer for staff and volunteers at 7pm. Seeking God to fill us and prepare us to be lights in this neighborhood.

Philippians 2:15 says “that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,” NKJV.
